Pilgrim Gallery is an online space dedicated to art that is painted directly from life.

With many galleries dedicated to specific forms of art, we felt there was a need for a space devoted to this time honoured practice.

Art painted directly from life produces a unique aesthetic quality that honestly communicates the visual experience of the artist to the viewer to the best of the artists ability. 

Painting from life and realistic representational Art often go hand in hand, and with Art being a visual communication that transcends language barriers, an artist painting in this manner is able to communicate the world over.

Creating art from life is akin to a pilgrimage. The artist takes a journey of discovery searching for the truth of what they see, and presenting it to the viewer.  Pilgrim gallery aims to make this art readily available to the public.
